Who we are

What this website collects

The website has no contact form, sets no cookies and has no analytics or tracking. Nothing you do on it is stored by us.

In your browser

Your browser remembers that you have seen the opening animation, so it is shorter on your next visit, and keeps a brief note while one page turns into the next. Neither holds anything about you, and neither leaves your browser.

Booking a stay

Book your stay takes you to GODO’s secure booking page with the apartment, dates and number of guests you chose. What you enter there is used by us and by GODO to take and manage your booking, and card payments are handled by Teya.

Tours

Tours are booked on TourDesk, under its own terms. On a tour page, TourDesk’s booking box loads from TourDesk’s servers and fetches its fonts from Google Fonts, so TourDesk and Google receive your IP address when that page opens.

Hosting and links

The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver the pages and keep the site secure. Links to other sites, such as Google Maps for directions, open those sites under their own privacy policies.

Email and phone

If you write to us or call, we use what you send only to answer you and to look after your stay.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used, by writing to [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to Persónuvernd, the Icelandic Data Protection Authority, at personuvernd.is (opens in a new tab).
